荏柄天神社の絵筆塚祭とは
漫画家の清水崑が長年愛用していた筆を「かっぱ塚」を建てて供養。清水崑の亡くなった後、漫画家の横山隆一を中心に、かっぱ塚の背後の小高い丘の上にブロンズ製の「絵筆塚」が建立された。絵筆の祭りを定着させようと、十月の第１か第２日曜日に開催されています。（出典：原田寛『鎌倉のまつり・行事 小事典』かまくら春秋社 2012 133p）
筆の毛の部分にカッパのレリーフがあって、色々な漫画家によって書かれていますが、中にはドラえもんや鉄腕アトムもありますので、ぜひ探してみてください。
開催時間・お勧めポイント
土曜日：午後３時から午後５時 行灯掲揚、夕刻から行灯点灯
日曜日：午前9時 行灯掲揚、午後1時から祭典執行筆供養
※2023年の情報です。時間と内容は毎年同様と思われますが、別途ご確認ください。一応、電話で確認したところ、前日2025年10月4日の土曜日に行灯掲揚、10月5日の日曜日13時から祭典とのことでした。今年も漫画家さんが来られるそうです。

私が見学したのは2023年10月8日日曜日の筆供養ですが、当日は12時40分頃に到着しました。
階段にも漫画家さんが絵を書いた行灯が掲揚されていますので、もう少し早めに行って１つづつ見ていくのが良いと思います（終わった後でもゆっくり見ることもできます）。
当日は、13時から神事が執り行われますが、漫画家さんが大きな紙にそれぞれ思い思い絵をその場で描いていますので、実際に書いている姿を見るのでしたら、もっと早めに行かれると良いと思います。（さすが！さらさらって描くな~と感心します。）
神事の後、それをお焚き上げします（せっかく描いた絵も燃やしちゃうんだ～）。祭典が終了すると、参加された漫画家に似顔絵を描いてもらうことが出来ます。2023年は４人の漫画家が似顔絵を描いていらっしゃいました。（金額は未確認です）
催事自体は14時前には終了していたと思います。

久しぶりに漫画読みたくなってきましたね
I visited Egara Tenjin Shrine for the brush memorial service on October 8th.
I arrived around 12:40pm.
Lanterns were decorated on the staircase, and manga artists were drawing illustrations.
We recommend arriving early so you can take your time to look at each piece.
I attended the Fude Kuyo (Brush Memorial Service) on October 8th, 2023, and arrived around 12:40 PM.
Even on the stairs leading up to the shrine, beautifully illustrated andon (paper lanterns) were on display. Manga artists had already started drawing on large sheets of paper, each with their own unique style.
If you’re planning to go, I highly recommend arriving earlier so you can take your time to look at all the lanterns and watch the artists in action.
It’s amazing to see them draw so smoothly—their pens just flow across the paper! Truly impressive.
The Shinto ceremony officially starts at 1:00 PM, and after that, the artwork created by the artists is ritually burned in a traditional offering.
Once the ceremony is over, there’s also a special treat: you can get your portrait sketched by one of the participating manga artists!
In 2023, there were four artists in attendance. (Unfortunately, I didn’t catch how much they were charging for the portraits.)
